Workshop „Parents as Successful Teachers” had responsiveness in Daugavpils Education news
On 10th of January Professional, Informal and Adult Education Structural Unit of City General and Professional Education Department organized free workshop for parents in the framework of project „Parents as Successful Teachers” (PASS). Information about the event attracted a lot of attention and 46 parents, who have preschool age children, applied for the workshop. They listened with interest to the lecturer, author of the materials of the project PASS Edgars Lasevičs. Focus was laid to the two major directions – development of thinking and getting acquainted with foreign language in preschool age. Edgars Lasevičs told parents how to use in the Internet accessible materials of the project for teaching and upbringing children. Professional, Informal and Adult Education Structural Unit of City General and Professional Education Department are planning to organize free workshop, leaded by psychologist Linda Vingre, for parents also in February.
