On 16 January, the XIV International Festival of Sacred Music "Silver Bells", which took place online for three days on Youtube channel "Latvian Contests", has ended.
Within the Festival, a competition for vocal ensembles, choirs and, for the first time, young choir conductors, professional choirs and virtual ensembles took place. In total 150 competitors from 18 countries took part in the festival.

At 3 p.m. on Tuesday 21 December, a new site-specific art project, “what can’t we just create” by Kristaps Ancāns, will be opened on 2 Nikolaja Street, Daugavpils Fortress.

8 November through 31 December 2021, the Ceramic Association of Latvia offers the public its latest exhibition, “Talk to Me!”, available at the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre courtyard.
From 3 November, ceramic artist Lilija Zeiļa offers her latest solo show, “Happenstance – Natural Order”, at the glass exhibition space of the 4METRES Gallery in Daugavpils Fortress, 8 Hospitāļa Street.
