“Daugavpils – 740. New Identity of the City”
April 23rd - 24th 2015, Daugavpils, Latvia
Daugavpils - the city rich with its cultural and historical traditions in 2015 will celebrate its 740 anniversary. The III International Daugavpils Tourism conference is planned under this anniversary mark that will be held on April 23rd - 24th, 2015.
The goal of the conference is to introduce the new marketing concept of Daugavpils city to the tourism specialists, as well as to promote cooperation between Latvian and foreign tourism professionals presenting Daugavpils tourism objects.
The conference will be held in Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, where participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with original works of the great, world-famous abstract expressionist Mark Rothko and also get acquainted with new seasonal exhibitions devoted to second birthday of the Art Centre, to participate at the great opening of the 1st renovated coast Luneta of Daugavpils Fortress, as well as to attend the brilliant dance performance at Daugavpils theatre.
We invite to participate at the conference tourism specialists, tour operators who are interested to offer Daugavpils city tourism object to their clients. Mass media would need to get accreditation. During the conference the live broad cast will be provided at home page of Daugavpils City Council.
