Daugavpils and its’ region were popularized on a Tallink ferry City news
In the framework of project "Week of Latvia on the Baltic Sea" from 11 to 13 November Tourist Information Center of Daugavpils region popularized the latest deals of Daugavpils, Daugavpils region and Latgale region on organized by the National Tourism Development Agency stand during the trip "Riga-Stockholm-Riga" on the ship "Silja Festival".
Days of Latvia on the ships "Tallink" during trips from Stockholm to Riga and back run from 11 to 23 November, and it is a gift of the company at the Independence Day of Latvia. On the ships during the trips are scheduled concerts, games and contests with valuable prizes, tastings of Latvian products, parties and dances. From January 1 to October 1, 2012 at the tourist information center of Daugavpils region turned 36,010 visitors, among them - 627 tourists from Sweden, which makes 3.66% of the 18,897 foreign tourists who attended the Centre.
