The Conference “ Business in Daugavpils and Latgale Special Economic Zone” City news
Latgale Special Economic Zone operates from January 2017. In order to present the advantages of Latgale SEZ for business development to the entrepreneurs of Latvia and foreign countries, to exchange experience and to build sustainable business Daugavpils City Council in cooperation with the Latgale Planning Region organizes the informative conference "Business in Daugavpils and Latgale SEZ".
Daugavpils is the second largest city of Latvia and the third part of the economy of Latgale Region is concentrated in the city. Developed infrastructure, availability of qualified labor, traditions of manufacturing and opportunities for education are the additional bonuses for the development of entrepreneurship in Daugavpils.
During the conference experts will express their opinion on how entrepreneurs can gain maximum return through the benefits provided by the Special Economic Zone, also there will be provided information about the support for the entrepreneurs from the state and local government, offered opportunities of Business incubator. During discussions and individual interviews entrepreneurs will share their experience about business in Daugavpils City.
Already 100 participants from Latvia, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova.
The conference will be held in Daugavpils on March 3, 2017 in conference hall of Park Hotel “Latgola”, Ģimnāzijas Street 46.
