General objective:

Environmental problems axis - the development of administrative and implementation capacity of local-level administrative unit in Turkey's EU accession process.

Specific objective:

Sustainable cooperation on the topic of environmental issues between Turkey and local authorities in the EU (between Amasya/Suluova and Daugavpils) and workshops, seminars, briefings, publications to increase awareness, sharing of best practices/organized activities, provision of common network formation, increasing the capacity of local administrations/NGOs on waste management practices, increasing awareness of local actors and society on the environment.
