International cooperation
Daugavpils is a hospitable and open city, so it has many cooperation partners in different parts of the world. Daugavpils has 18 twin cities, but the closest cooperation it has with the closest neighbours - Lithuania, Russia and Belarus. Daugavpils is actively involved and successfully implements many cross-border projects that allow to develop, attract funding, gain new experience and strengthen ties with partners in the neighbouring countries.
